The ceiling plenum takes diffusion media across the full grid, and on a European-style downdraft the ceiling is a genuinely large filter area, which is what makes the air curtain gentle enough for dust-free flowout. Treat the ceiling as one filter, not a collection of panels: replace it as a set, and never leave an empty frame while waiting on stock, because a single open cell jets unfiltered air straight at the paint.

Exhaust. Floor-level arrestor media catches the overspray. Fiberglass pad is the standard fill, with polyester as the step-up for waterborne-heavy schedules or where a firmer pad handles grate mounting better. Since the Conquer's slot map is not yet field-verified in our database, we quote exhaust media by your measured grate or pit openings rather than a published cut list.

Kit logic. The economical pattern on a booth like this is a standing kit: full ceiling set on a long interval, exhaust media on a short one, delivered together so nothing runs out mid-cycle. Two or three change cycles of gauge readings are enough to tune the ratio to your actual spray volume, and the fitment check gets the dimensions on file for every reorder.

A Conquer spraying HAP-containing refinish coatings on vehicles falls under EPA NESHAP 6H, which requires exhaust filtration, operation consistent with manufacturer specifications, and maintenance you can document. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.94(c) sets the ventilation floor for spray finishing, and downdraft booths only meet it while both filter planes are open enough to carry design airflow. NFPA 33 rounds it out on the fire side: captured overspray is combustible loading, and filter replacement intervals are part of the standard's housekeeping expectations. An imported booth carries the same US obligations as a domestic one; the nameplate origin changes nothing about the inspection.
