Plenum-fed ceiling. The full-width plenum distributes supply air across the entire ceiling input stage before it ever reaches the media. For the filter program that means the ceiling media loads evenly edge to edge, which extends usable life compared to point-fed designs, and it means a single degraded panel disturbs a column that is otherwise very straight. Change the input stage as a complete set.

Floor extraction. EVAC EX and LEVAC EX are the sheet's standard floor extraction packages. Exhaust arrestor media sits at the floor extraction points and is sized to that layout. Our record does not document the opening dimensions, so the first fitment check maps them, and every reorder rides on that map.

Throughput reality. Shops buy the top rung for volume, and media consumption follows paint volume, not booth prestige. A 5 Series doing heavy collision throughput can outconsume a smaller booth several times over. The strong fan band masks loading longer than a 1 Series fan would, which makes the exhaust manometer more important here, not less: by the time airflow visibly sags on an 18.5kW fan option, the media is well past due.

The 5 Series' architecture lines up with what EPA 6H expects of an area-source refinisher: enclosed, ventilated, filtered spraying maintained to manufacturer specification, with the specification sheet itself serving as the reference document. OSHA 1910.94(c) holds ventilation performance at the working zone regardless of how large the fan package is, and NFPA 33 requires exhaust arrestors changed before combustible overspray accumulates at the extraction points. High-throughput shops should note that compliance exposure scales with volume: more spraying means more frequent documented changes, which is where subscription delivery records earn their keep.
