Ceiling set. Four 65 x 120 diffusion panels feed the working chamber. In a downdraft, these panels do two jobs at once: they are the final filtration stage for incoming air and the pressure-balancing element that keeps airflow laminar over the vehicle. Replace all four together. Mixing a fresh panel with three loaded ones tilts the velocity profile toward the clean panel and drags overspray sideways across the panel line.

AMU prefilter. The six-pocket bag on the air make-up unit is the cheapest insurance in the whole program. It catches dust before the burner and coil, and it loads on its own schedule, faster in dusty seasons and on gravel-lot shops. Change it independently of the ceiling; it is not a set-change item.

Exhaust side. The catalog does not document the 6.0 Meter's exhaust slot, so we match media, fiberglass arrestor or pocketed paper, to your measured pit or grid opening. Send dimensions with your first order and the record upgrades from catalog-discovered toward verified fitment.

Change discipline. Skip fixed calendars and hang a manometer across the exhaust media. Change at the pressure-drop limit your media type specifies, and change the ceiling when face velocity sags or the panels visibly load. Booth usage varies too much shop to shop for one interval to be honest.

Most body shops running a 6.0 Meter fall under EPA NESHAP 6H as area sources, which requires spraying inside a ventilated booth with exhaust filter technology achieving at least 98 percent capture efficiency, maintained per the manufacturer's specification. Documented, on-schedule filter changes are the evidence an inspector asks for. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.94(c) sets ventilation requirements for spray finishing; loaded filters cut airflow velocity below what the standard expects at the working zone. NFPA 33 treats loaded paint arrestors as combustible loading and expects them changed before buildup becomes a fire path.
